Solar Construction Manager - Per Diem Offered
Now hiring a Solar Construction Manager for projects in IL or CO.
Pay is up to $100k, + per diem, company vehicle and per diem.
The Mechanical Construction Manager monitors the fieldwork of several small to medium size solar projects. They are responsible for coordinating and supervising field activities across multiple sites to ensure safe and quality installations. The Mechanical Construction Manager will assist the foreman in providing direction, hands on training, and oversight to the field team with construction ground mount solar system.
Main Responsibilities:
-Employee development: Hiring, training, and developing mechanical foreman. Train mechanical foreman on proper installation of Pile Driving, Racking, and Module installation based on the safety practices and install procedures lined out in the JHA’s, Install Manuals, and NESCO Standard Operating Procedures
Managing employee certifications and assisting with training and accountability for the mechanical apprenticeship program
-Quality Control: Project punch list inspections when projects are 50% and 100% complete.

-Able to travel 100% on the road
-Confidently operates all equipment on site and able to train on that equipment.
-Has a thorough understanding of all mechanical solar scopes – post, racking and modules (racking experience: ATI, Nextracker, Flex Rack, preferred)
-Minimum 5 years of mechanical solar experience.
