Now hiring a 1st shift Industrial Sprayer in Niles, Michigan!

Trillium Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Sprayer for our client’s manufacturing facility in Niles, MI.

This position is 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. Temp to hire opportunity paying $17/hour, depending on experience. The Industrial Sprayer applies prepared coatings to customers’ parts according to customer specifications.

Duties:
1. Reviews process sheets for accuracy.
2. Maintains spray guns, air hoses, and other equipment.
3. Reads process sheets to determine customer specifications, i.e. coating to be used, thickness, and type of application.
4. Prepares parts for coating process.
5. Mask areas not to be coated.
6. Applies coating to parts using appropriate spray gun, material and application method.
7. Places parts in appropriate oven at proper time and temperature.
8. Inspects and gauges parts to determine if coating applied according to customer specifications.
9. Responsible for checking quality of work to ensure it meets the customer’s expectations
10. Maintains a clean work area.
11. Fills out process sheets.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to be up and down bending on knees to clean filters, clean own parts, squatting to correctly coat parts as they move on line.
- Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
