Machine Operator

Machine Operators needed in Green Bay, WI! 1st and 2nd shift openings available! 

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking Converting Machine Operators for our client in Green Bay!

Experienced operator assistants encouraged to apply!  The Machine Operator position is responsible for maintaining production while overseeing coaters, folders, slitters, case packers, and additional line equipment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for quality checks, inspections, basic machine troubleshooting, completing setups, and training/assisting operator assistants.

Job duties:
-Prepare base stock and install in the unwind as needed
-Monitor machine operation and packaging product accurately and timely
-Maintains communication with supervisors and fellow team members
-Operate roll-handling equipment
-Troubleshoot machine issues
-Complete appropriate paperwork

This is a full-time, contract to hire position, with a great organization in the area. The standard 1st shift hours are Monday-Friday 6am - 2:30pm and 2nd shift hours are Monday – Friday 2:30pm - 1:00am. Starting wage ranges based on experience level, $19-21/hour.

Qualifications:
-1-2+ years machine operator experience in a paper or non-woven converting environment, strongly preferred.
- 2+ years Machine Operator Assistant experience encouraged to apply
-Experience operating roll-handling equipment or forklifts, preferred. Willing to train.
-Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
-Basic math and measuring skills.
-Experience conducting quality checks.
