Shop Assistant

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a Shop Assistant to add to our client’s growing 1st shift team! Willing to train!  

Our client, a custom cabinet shop, has an immediate need for Shop Assistant who can work in both their sanding department and warehouse department, determined by workload.  Additional duties such as cutting and assembling wood frames, general cabinet assembly, final assembly(doors and hardware), CNC Router operator, and painting/staining wood can be trained over time. Previous experience in woodworking on cabinetry a huge plus but not required. 

This is a full-time, contract to hire position on 1st shift! The standard 1st shift hours are Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm. The starting wage is based on experience, $18-20+ per hour.

Qualifications:
- 1-2+ year related work experience in an industrial setting, preferred.
- Woodworking, carpentry or cabinetry experience a big plus.
- CNC Router or Machine Operator experience, a plus.
- Wood or Metal painting experience, a plus.
- Experience with basic hand and power tools, strongly preferred.
- Must be able to take and read basic measurements.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
