Tax Accounting Manager
Trillium Staffing is looking for an experienced and client-focused Tax & Accounting Manager to provide exceptional tax and financial services.
The ideal candidate will work directly with clients, business owners, and management teams, ensuring timely and accurate review of tax returns and financial statements. This role offers the potential for growth into a partnership or ownership position within the firm. Pay range - $75/yr.
Key Responsibilities:
-Advise clients on achieving their personal and business financial objectives through comprehensive advisory services.
-Oversee the preparation, compilation, and review of financial statements.
-Manage and facilitate the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations, as well as other compliance projects.
-Identify and implement opportunities to improve internal processes and efficiency.
-Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff members.
-Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and strategic direction.
-Conduct tax research and accurately interpret tax law for clients.

Qualifications:
-5-7+ years of experience in public accounting required.
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Strong understanding of tax laws, GAAP, and special purpose frameworks.
-Excellent organizational and stress management abilities.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Proven experience managing or mentoring staff.
-Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with QuickBooks and Thomson—Reuters products is a plus.
-CPA certification is preferred but not required.
