Machine Operator
Trillium Staffing is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators and Assistant Operators to add to our client’s growing team in Green Bay!
The Machine Operator position will be responsible for maintaining production of a film/bag machine while overseeing quality, safety, preventative maintenance, and additional line equipment. The Machine Operator conducts quality checks, completes basic machine troubleshooting, setups/changeovers, and will assist with training assistant operators. Assistant Operators will be responsible for preparing materials for upcoming production runs, assisting with setups/changeovers, basic machine troubleshooting, and training how to operate their machine.
Additional Job duties:
• Operate roll-handling equipment
• Prepare base stock and install in the unwind as needed
• Monitor machine operation and packaging product accurately and timely
• Maintains communication with supervisors and fellow team members
This is a full-time, direct hire role, with a great organization in the area! Our client has openings on their 1st and 2nd shifts, on a 2-2-3 nonrotating schedule. Day shift hours are 6:00am - 6:00pm and night shift hours are 6:00pm - 6:00am,
The starting wage range for the Operator Assistant position is $23-25/hr, based on experience level. The experienced Machine Operator wages are $26-32/hr.+ based on experience.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of machine operator or assistant operator experience in the printing or converting industry, preferred, not required.
• 1-2+ years Machine Operator Assistant experience encouraged to apply.
• Experienced operating roll clamps or forklifts, preferred.
• Basic math and measuring skills, required.
• Experience conducting quality checks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, required.
