Lead Welder

Trillium is Now Hiring a Welding Team Leader in Dallas! 

This is a first shift position working Monday to Friday. The starting pay range will be $28.00 to $35.00, depending on experience level. Must have previous Lead or Supervisor experience. 

Responsibilities:
-Lead the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, and fabricators. 
-Coordinate work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals as determined by the supervisor.  
-Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. 
-Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. 
-Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures. 
-Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. 
-Set up and adjust machines and equipment.

Qualifications: 
-Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience welding in a manufacturing environment or equivalent training/education.
-Experience Tig Welding aluminum sheet metal.
-Must have considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Welding, effective oral, and written communication skills.
