Now hiring a Technical Sales Representative for direct hire!

Technical Sales Representative needed for this terrific Lewis Center area company in the natural gas and utility field! 

Technical Sales Representatives are responsible for communicating with current and potential clients, generating quotes, and creating sales orders. This role will include training to property size gas meters, regulators, and instrumentation for commercial, industrial, and utility clients.

The Technical Sales Rep position has a well-defined promotion path as technical knowledge of the product line grows. The ability to learn new concepts quickly is one of the main factors for success in this role. Knowledge and experience working within the natural gas industry is a plus, but full training is provided for those without an industry background.

Responsibilities:
•    Sell company products and services to new and existing clients 
•    Engage in prospecting to find new potential customers
•    Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline 
•    Resolve customer inquiries and complaints 
•    Set follow-up appointments to review new products and services with current clients 
•    Create sales material to present to customers 

Great direct hire opportunity offering full benefits package, paid time off, and 401K. 

Salary range will be based on experience and be in the $55-60,000 range. Quarterly bonus opportunity that amounts to 5-8% of base salary. Defined promotion path with increases in both base salary and bonus percentage after training!

Schedule is 8am-5pm Monday-Friday at the Lewis Center office. Option to work with a 9/80 schedule to have every other Friday off!

Qualifications: 
•    Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
•    Experience in the gas industry is a plus (Fields such as plumbing, HVAC, and maintenance are also strongly related)
•    Familiarity with CRM and ERP platforms  
•    Motived to learn and hungry to grow in a niche business
