Safety Technician - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Traveling Safety Technician to work a 5-day shutdown in Auburn, ME!

Working night shift for 5 days, 12 hours/day, plus $135/day in per diem!

Duties:
-Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
-Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
-Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
-Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols.
-Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local safety regulations.

Qualifications:
-1-3 years of experience in construction safety or a related role.
-Certification in OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant safety certifications.
-Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety practices.
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
