Project Coordinator
Trillium Construction is hiring for a Construction Project Engineer to work directly with a large, well-respected heavy civil contractor in Arroyo Grande, CA.
This individual will be responsible for managing project timelines, schedules, meetings, project correspondence, and handling other administrative duties as required for large civil projects throughout the state. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and long-term opportunity with a competitive wage and benefits!
Duties:
-Assist project team with pre-construction activities such as subcontracts, purchase orders, scheduling, permits, and submittals.
-Manage all document control throughout the project lifecycle
-Manage minority goal documentation
-Manage subcontractor and supplier communication, documentation, and other requirements
-Coordinating and monitoring the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of projects
-Communicating with project stakeholders, contractors, and other relevant parties to keep them informed of progress and any changes
-Preparing, reviewing, and updating project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical reports
-Assisting in the close-out of completed projects, including finalizing paperwork, and facilitating project reviews
-Ensure project documents are complete and up to date
-Working cooperatively with project managers to mitigate and/or eliminate potential problems
-Overseeing and monitoring construction project progress and tackling any issues that may arise
-Act as a liaison between clients and contractors and subcontractors and communicating project status to all participants
Compensation:
-Annual salary between $60,000 - $70,000

Qualifications:
-Proven work experience as a Construction Project Coordinator or similar role
-Familiarity with construction/ project management software; HCSS, Agtek, Viewpoint knowledge is a plus
-Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-A team player with leadership abilities
-Ability to interpret and analyze complex construction plans and specifications
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
-Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
-Extreme attention to detail
