Superintendent
Trillium Construction is hiring a Superintendent for a client in Flowood, MS specializing in Commercial Construction.
Our client is a leading general contractor specializing in high-quality mixed-use commercial construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee mixed-use commercial construction projects from start to finish. The Superintendent will be responsible for on-site project management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring quality control and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully managing multi-faceted commercial projects with residential and retail components.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage daily on-site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
-Supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
-Develop and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and job logs.
-Enforce safety policies in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
-Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners to resolve issues and ensure project success.
-Oversee material procurement, inspections, and site logistics.
-Maintain a high level of quality control, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with all codes and regulations.
-Lead and participate in progress meetings, providing updates and addressing any project challenges.

Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably in mixed-use developments.
-Strong knowledge of ground-up construction, site development, and interior finishes.
-Experience working with retail, multi-family residential, office, or hospitality components.
-Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
-Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical drawings.
-Knowledge of local building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
-OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
-Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
