Superintendent

Trillium Construction is seeking a Superintendent for a project in Charleston, SC. 

Pay rate is up to $45 per hour. Schedule is Mon - Fri, 7a to 3:30p.

Responsibilities include: 
- Can run crew with little to no input from their General Superintendent
- Understands and ensures all employees are following all our policies and procedures. DEF and Fueling Policy, Safety Policy, Ect.
- Can Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, GPS department, and equipment department
- Ensures that all tie-end are checked and confirmed when we first arrive on-site
- Ensures that subgrade and rock grade is shot and confirmed by our GPS department
- Can deal with issues on a jobsite in a professional manner
- Can figure grades and percentages for all civil sitework needs
- Can setup UTS and can teach his or her employees on how to setup and use UTS machine control
- Can communicate effectively to employees to direct them to complete task
- Ensures all materials and trucks are ordered to complete daily task
- Reports any material and trucking issues to the general superintendent / project manager to keep everyone aware of the situation
- Ensures all employees complete daily pre-operation inspections on all equipment

- Is proficient on all equipment fine grading and laying pipe
- Knows GPS rover and Machine control, how to check in rover / equipment everyday to ensure everything is working properly
- Understands how to use B2W to report quantities and time daily
- Can read and interpret plans to build a job
