Prep Cook

Trillium Staffing is now hiring a Prep Cook  for direct hire in Au Gres, Michigan.

Schedule may vary Thursday- Sunday 11am-11pm. Pay rate is $15 per hour. 

Responsibilities:
-Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and meats, as well as measure and portion ingredients accurately.
-Marinating & Sauce Preparation: Marinate meat and prepare sauces according to recipes.
-Workspace & Equipment Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean and organized, wash dishes, clean equipment, and sanitize surfaces and utensils.
-Ingredient Readiness: Ensure ingredients are stocked and ready for use to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications:
-Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
-Experience: Previous kitchen experience is preferred.
-Skills: Basic food preparation skills and excellent communication and organizational abilities.
-Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and industry best practices.
