Production Supervisor
Production Supervisor position available in the Aiken, SC area.
This is a direct hire, 2nd shift opportunity at our client location who is a leading manufacturer. Pay range is $27-$28 an hour or $56,160- $58,240 annually. Possible hourly or salaried role. 8 hour shift working from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This is a hands on working supervisor role. 80% engaged in CNC and grinding operations and 20% supervising.
Duties for the production supervisor include:
-Oversee production process, ensuring goals and deadlines are met
-Supervise floor workers and ensure maximum efficiency
-Identify and resolve production/machine-related issues quickly
-Ensure product quality meets customer expectations
-Monitor inventory and order materials as needed
-Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
-Maintain accurate production data and cost records
-CNC Programming and setup
Supervisory responsibilities:
-Guide workers on reacting to abnormalities and resolve production issues.
-Supervise work quality and ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
-Assist in equipment maintenance and improve work areas. Learn and apply CNC and grinding machine maintenance.

Production supervisor skills and qualifications:
-5+ years of management or supervisory experience
-3+ years of CNC programming/setup experience
-Machine maintenance knowledge is a plus
-Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
-Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
-Basic understanding of warehouse documentation and safety regulations (OSHA).
