Production Shop Manager

Trillium Construction is seeking a Production Shop Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a reputable company in Jacksonville.

This company is a custom/production solutions provider specializing in fabricated components for industrial projects, including building complex industrial skids and steel fabricated industrial equipment.

If you’re an experienced production professional with a hands-on approach and a strong background in managing fabrication operations, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay rate is $25 - $35 per hour (DOE). Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, PTO

Duties & Responsibilities
-Develop and manage production schedules to meet project timelines.
-Oversee and actively participate in fitting pipe, welding, and layout for steel fabrication processes.
-Track project hours and ensure deadlines are met.
-Supervise and train production staff on safety, quality, and efficiency.
-Lead production teams, fostering communication and teamwork across departments.
-Ensure products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
-Troubleshoot and resolve production defects and inefficiencies.
-Ensure equipment is properly maintained to minimize downtime.
-Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
-Participate in production meetings and provide regular status updates.
-Coordinate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications
-Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and compliance standards.
-Knowledge of AISC and ASME standards.
-Must have experience with layout, fitting, and welding processes (Flux core and occasionally TIG).
