Grading Superintendent

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Grading Superintendent in the Baltimore area to oversee crews on site development projects in the area! 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in earthwork, grading, and site development, with a keen understanding of the specific needs and complexities of commercial construction. 

Duties:
-Oversee and manage grading and site preparation activities on commercial construction projects.
-Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure grading operations align with project specifications and timelines.
-Supervise and direct grading crews, including equipment operators and laborers, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
-Interpret and enforce project plans, blueprints, and specifications to achieve accurate site grading.
-Monitor and assess site conditions, making necessary adjustments to grading operations as needed.
-Manage and track project costs, labor, equipment utilization, and materials to ensure budget adherence. 

Compensation:
-Annual salary up to $120,000/year

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5+ years in grading and site development, with at least -2 years in a supervisory role. 
-High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred). 
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, grading plans, and survey reports 
-OSHA 30 certification preferred; familiarity with GPS grading equipment is a plus 
-Ability to work in outdoor environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate heavy machinery if needed
