Construction Project Manager

Trillium Construction is seeking a Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a general contractor that specializes in commercial development and construction.

We are looking for experienced Project Managers to join our team in Tyler, Texas. Whether you have K-12 school construction experience, medical building experience, or general commercial construction experience, we have an opportunity for you! You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of your projects, from initial planning to successful project completion.

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project coordination. This includes determining project scope, resourcing materials and subcontractors, scheduling, customer interface, coordination with job-site superintendents, and budget responsibility. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:
-Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion.
-Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resourcing, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
-Collaborate with superintendents to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the job site.
-Interface with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
-Source and negotiate with subcontractors, managing relationships and ensuring quality work.
-Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (OSHA).
-Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate project execution.
-Maintain detailed project documentation and progress reports.
-Ensure that change orders are executed properly and updated on as-built plans.
-Use project management software, such as Procore, to manage and track projects.

General Requirements:
-Experience with K-12, medical building, or general commercial construction projects. (Specific experience in each field is preferred, but not required.)
-2+ years of construction project management experience.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication skills – both oral, written, and via email.
-Strong negotiation skills with the ability to source and manage subcontractors.
-Proficient in Excel, Word, MS Project, Outlook; Procore experience is a plus.
-Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
-Must provide at least 3 job-related references.
