Construction Project Manager
Trillium Construction is seeking a Commercial Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a general contractor that specializes in commercial development and construction.
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects, from the initial planning stages through to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project coordination. This includes determining project scope, resourcing materials and subcontractors, scheduling, customer interface, coordination with job-site superintendents, and budget responsibility. You will be a key player in delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
Job Responsibilities:
-Manage and coordinate all aspects of commercial construction projects from start to finish.
-Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
-Work closely with superintendents to ensure day-to-day operations are aligned with project timelines.
-Interface with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
-Source and manage subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and maintain positive working relationships.
-Monitor project progress, quality, and safety to ensure compliance with standards and regulations (OSHA).
-Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure proper project execution.
-Maintain detailed documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
-Ensure change orders are executed properly and updates are reflected on as-built plans.
-Use project management software (Procore) to manage project workflows and tracking.
Annual salary is $90,000 - $115,000 per year (based on experience). Benefits: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, $100 phone allowance, company-issued laptop and iPad.

General Requirements:
-2+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
-Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, materials, and safety standards (OSHA).
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively interface with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Proficient in Excel, Word, MS Project, and Outlook; Procore experience is a plus.
-Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
