Trillium Professional is now seeking an IT Project Manager for a long term Contract!

This is a remote position (Must be able to work EST hours).

Position Overview:
•    Seeking highly skilled and experienced Project Managers for ongoing MEDITECH implementations, migrations, and other critical initiatives. This role will focus on overseeing complex healthcare IT projects, with a strong emphasis on PACS experience, data migrations, interoperability, MEDITECH implementations, and divestiture experience across industries.
•    In addition to deep technical expertise, professionals who can manage and lead these initiatives with limited oversight, demonstrate ownership of the project and lead cross-functional teams to success. These leaders will be instrumental in ensuring our MEDITECH platform is optimized and seamlessly integrated across systems.
•    The right candidate is someone who has led divestiture projects, ideally in a hospital setting or, at a minimum, in a large-scale business environment, with deep IS experience. This individual must be highly organized, able to communicate clearly with executive leadership, and comfortable providing frequent project updates and managing project scope and execution directly alongside the Vice President of PMO/Help Desk/Crisis and Change Management.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead, coordinate, and manage the full lifecycle of MEDITECH EHR implementations, migrations, and system integrations. Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while handling complex interdependencies.
Provide specialized expertise for integrating Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) into the MEDITECH environment, ensuring smooth operational and technical functionality.
•    Oversee and drive the successful migration of critical data from legacy systems to the MEDITECH EHR platform, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and seamless interoperability between systems.
•    Work closely with executive leadership, IT teams, clinical teams, and vendors to ensure projects meet organizational goals and are aligned with broader business strategies.
Manage and oversee divestiture processes, including the transfer or separation of IT systems and services, in collaboration with other functional teams across multiple industries.
•    Identify areas for process improvement in project management methodologies, systems integration, and implementation strategies. Proactively propose enhancements to optimize efficiencies and streamline workflows.

Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
•    5+ years of experience in project management, with a specific focus on MEDITECH EHR implementations and migrations.
•    Proven expertise in PACS integration, data migrations, and interoperability within healthcare environments.
Must have prior experience managing divestiture initiatives and/or mergers & acquisitions.
•    Strong communication and executive presence; proven ability to provide updates and insights directly to C-suite leaders.
•    Exceptional organizational skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
Self-starter who excels in high-pressure environments and can lead with minimal oversight.
•    Experience with project-based work across multiple disciplines including revenue cycle, registration, medical records, and related business applications.
•    Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required; MBA or MS Degree preferred
•    Minimum 3-5 years of project & program management/systems integration experience
•    Project Management Certification desired
•    Strong working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. 5+ years working in healthcare/hospital systems
