Material Handler
Trillium has an immediate opening for a Material Handler in Wilmington!
This Temp-to-Hire opportunity seeks a Material Handler who will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. This role plays a crucial part in supporting production and logistics by ensuring that materials are stored, transported, and documented accurately. The Material Handler will report directly to the Material Services Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
-Review shop packets and bills of lading, or heed oral instructions to identify which materials need to be moved
-Manually load/unload materials to/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
-Transport materials between storage, production, and shipping areas
-Secure materials for delivery and prepare for outside services as needed
-Operate forklifts and industrial trucks to handle materials (certification required in designated areas)
-Perform daily cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
-Record data on material movements (quantities, weights, and counts)
-Assist in moving corrugated materials to designated storage locations
-Maintain clean and organized workspaces; comply with safety guidelines
-Support other material handling duties as assigned
Schedule is 1st Shift / 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM / Monday - Friday. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience/training
-Forklift certification (required in specific areas)
-Ability to lift/move materials and work overtime or on Saturdays as needed
-Basic math and communication skills
-Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform simple documentation
