Mechanic

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Mechanic for direct-hire in Macon, GA!

This is Full-Time, Monday – Friday. Pay Rate: $28 – $30 per hour (depending on experience).

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanic. This full-time position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives working independently and takes pride in maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, a commitment to preventative maintenance, and a proactive approach to keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, components, and related equipment
•    Conduct diagnostic testing using relevant tools and software; interpret results and determine appropriate solutions
•    Execute preventative maintenance tasks including brakes, tires, suspensions, engines, and transmissions
•    Maintain an organized and clean work environment, including tools and parts inventory
•    Document services performed and communicate issues proactively

Qualifications:
•    Minimum of 3 years of hands-on mechanical experience
•    Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed
•    Proven ability to work independently and efficiently
•    Strong understanding of diagnostic procedures and maintenance techniques
•    CDL license preferred but not required
•    Familiarity with maintenance software is a plus
