Maintenance Millwright

Trillium Construction is now looking for an experienced maintenance Millwright in Chicago area to start immediately.

Pay rate is up to $40 an hour. Work is expected to last for 6 months.

Work Schedule:
Sunday - 6am to 6pm (12h/day)
Monday - 6am to 6pm
Tuesday - 6am to 6pm
Wednesday - 6am to Noon
Duration - 2 months then moves to Night Shift below

Night shift schedule:
Wed - 6pm to Midnight
Thursday - 6pm to 6am
Friday - 6pm to 6am
Duration 4 months

Overtime: As needed (OT after 40 hours) with 30 min paid lunch and 2x 10min breaks.

Job Duties:
-Perform routine and advanced maintenance tasks on production equipment
-Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. 
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. 
-Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns. 
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

-Must have at least 4 years’ experience in the field of mechanic/maintenance/millwright
-The mechanic/millwright must be able to trouble shoot a variety of equipment (pumps, gearbox, conveyors, valves etc.) inform the needs for parts/material, and perform the repairs needed.
-Journeyman level experience millwright, to be proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
-Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
