Construction Superintendent

Trillium Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our client’s solar division based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

This is a field-first role, perfect for a hands-on leader passionate about solar construction and capable of leading teams to deliver high-quality, on-time projects.

This is not a hybrid or remote position and is direct-hire. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Waukesha. Relocation assistance up to $5,000 available. Annual salary is $90,000 – $165,000/year. Travel: 90% on-site at job sites across Southern WI, Northern IL, and the greater Midwest. 

What You’ll Do
-Partner with the Project Manager to plan and execute solar construction projects
-Lead crews of tradespeople, foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
-Resolve site-level challenges including scheduling, productivity, and interfacing between teams
-Review plans and drawings, order materials, and coordinate deliveries
-Mentor foremen and project engineers for team and company growth
-Manage job site risk, labor and equipment costs, materials, and tools
-Travel to active solar job sites across Southern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and the broader Midwest
-Maintain a professional and productive job site atmosphere and uphold company standards

Qualifications
-5+ years of superintendent or construction manager experience (10 years of foreman experience may be considered)
-Background in solar or electrical construction strongly preferred
-Strong communication, planning, and leadership abilities
-Experience managing labor, equipment, and cost control in the field
-Technical or trade education in a construction-related field preferred
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
