Shop Supervisor

<p>Trillium Construction is now hiring a Shop Winding Supervisor for our client, a trusted provider of electrical-mechanical industrial services including the repair, rewind, and testing of AC/DC motors, generators, and transformers.</p> <p>The company is AAR M-1003 certified and serves Class I, short line, and regional railroads nationwide. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in motor and generator rewinding, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations of a busy shop environment. Pay rate is $70k/year.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:<br /> -Supervise and coordinate winding department activities<br /> -Schedule jobs an assign tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards<br /> -Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications<br /> -Perform or assist with complex rewind and repair jobs as needed<br /> -Train and mentor winding technicians and new employees<br /> -Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed<br /> -Maintain accurate job records and inventory of materials<br /> -Communicate with other departments and management as needed</p> <p>Benefits:<br /> -Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)<br /> -Health, dental, and vision insurance<br /> -401(k) with employer match<br /> -Paid time off and holidays<br /> -Long-term, stable career opportunity with room for advancement</p> <p>Interested? Apply today to join a team that values craftmanship, leadership, and quality service.</p> <p>Qualifications:<br /> -5+ years of hands-on experience in electric motor/generator winding<br /> -2+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role<br /> -Strong understanding of AC/DC motor theory and repair practices<br /> -Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings<br /> -Experience with railroad/locomotive motor rewind is a plus<br /> -Familiarity with AAR M-1003 certification standards preferred<br /> -Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills </p>
