Assistant Superintendent

Trillium Construction is hiring for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent with a strong background in multi-family residential construction to work on a large-scale apartment complex.

The ideal candidate will support the Superintendent in overseeing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties:
-Assist the Superintendent in daily site operations and project coordination.
-Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
-Monitor subcontractor performance, site safety, and quality control.
-Help coordinate and schedule labor, materials, and equipment deliveries.
-Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards.
-Maintain and document daily reports, job logs, and safety records.
-Collaborate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and trade partners to resolve issues in the field.
-Participate in project meetings and walkthroughs.
-Assist in enforcing safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
-Track and report progress against project milestones.

Compensation:
-Annual Salary between $60,000 - $80,000
-M/V/D insurance

Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in a construction role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant superintendent capacity.
-Proven experience in multi-family construction (apartments, condos, etc.) is required.
-Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
-Knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety practices.
-Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
-Proficient with construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
-High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
