Trillium Staffing is now seeking Plasma Burner Operator in Little Rock, AR for long-term work! 1st Shift.
A well-established industrial materials distribution facility is seeking a Plasma Burner Operator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This facility processes and distributes raw and semi-processed industrial metals in various shapes and sizes. The role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and equipment operation experience.
Schedule is 1st Shift, 7:00AM - 3:30PM. The pay rate is $21-23 based on experience.
A leading manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Plasma Burner Operator to join its team on 1st shift. This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced industrial setting that requires precision, independence, and a strong mechanical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC plasma burning machines, ensuring correct programs, gases, and torch components are used
- Load and unload the burner table using a forklift and overhead crane
- Remove completed parts and organize them on pallets or skids
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain accuracy in part counts per drawing and production requirements
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine machine maintenance
- Keep a clean and organized work area and meet production deadlines with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of CNC plasma cutting or burner table experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a production environment
Preferred Skills:
- CNC machining experience
- Forklift and overhead crane operation
- Familiarity with measuring tools (tape measure, micrometers) and hand tools
- Experience using grinders and packaging tools for material prep
