Site Superintendent

Trillium Construction is now hiring for a Site Superintendent! 

Our client is based on the East Coast specializes in telecom and EV Charging stations and they are now hiring for a Site Superintendent with civil experience to help oversee their EV Charging station projects throughout the Southeast region of the US. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of to $110k plus benefits like a company vehicle, gas card, M/V/D, etc. 

Duties: 
-Ensuring that both the health and safety project plans are implemented 
-Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and present & direct safety meetings / tool box talks 
-Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs 
-Overseeing the construction process and ensure that the highest construction standards are adhered to 
-Monitors both subcontractors and internal skilled tradesmen for compliance with safety, quality, schedule, budget and conformance to client’s installation standards 
-Reviews contract documents and assists with procurement, pre-bid conferences, and evaluations 
-Coordinates activities with other authority staff, departments, and public agencies 
-Resolves field construction problems in coordination with engineering staff, third parties, and other agencies as necessary 
-Attends progress meetings, develops status reports, and delivers presentations as required 
-Assists in negotiating with contractors regarding changes to design, construction work scope, and schedules 
-Monitors claims, suggests ways to mitigate impacts, and develops workarounds  
-Assists the project manager in analyzing and compiling cost relating to change orders. 
-Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques 
-Perform risk management to minimize adverse claims 
-Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors 
-Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation  
-Organizing and scheduling of daily / weekly work activities of in-house and subcontractor crews 
-Schedule / supervise subcontractors and ensures that they are punctual and that they deliver as required 
-Ensuring that the set budget is adhered to in terms of purchases of materials and lodging 
-General inspection of the workers and their performance  
-Ensuring that the stipulated safety rules and regulations are met 
-Liaises with government inspectors on the standard requirements of the site in terms of codes compliance and safety 
-Follows the project construction process to ensure that it is completed on time 
-Prepares self timesheet and credit card expense reports within expected timeframe 
-Obtaining and closing out permits as required 
-Preparing construction progress reports as required 
-Assisting PM by attending bid meetings when requested 
-Obtaining construction materials from distributers or customer facilities and delivering to work site or company warehouse 
-Attending Preconstruction meetings and final inspections 
-Preparing and submitting closeout deliverables within specified timeline of construction completion as required 
-Coordinates internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects 
-Nurtures a positive work environment 
-Sometimes performs on hands work task & labor including but not limited to the following: 
-Operation of warehouse and variable length forklifts 
-Climbing portable and fixed ladders

-Excellent time and construction management skills 
-Efficient in using Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
