Superintendent
Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Superintendent in Madison, WI!
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with the ability to lead on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and contribute directly to framing, demolition, and finish carpentry work.
Duties:
-Supervise and manage daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects.
-Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
-Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
-Monitor and maintain the construction schedule; proactively resolve delays or scheduling conflicts.
-Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and jobsite cleanliness.
-Maintain clear and professional communication with project managers and company leadership.
-Report job progress regularly and flag any issues that may impact cost, schedule, or quality.
-Manage deliveries, materials, and equipment on-site.
-Promote and enforce a culture of safety and respect on the jobsite.
Compensation:
-Hourly rate between $38/hr - $45/hr

Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry (commercial construction experience strongly preferred over residential).
-Proficient in wood stud and steel stud framing.
-Ability to lead jobsite activities while also contributing hands-on when needed.
-Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and site coordination.
-Competence in basic computer functions such as email and calendar usage (project management software not required).
-Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm, professional, and solutions-oriented in the face of field conflicts.
-Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be a dependable team player.
