Shop Foreman

A local Company is looking for an experienced agricultural technician to serve as the Shop Forman.

Responsibilities of the Shop Forman include:
-Hands on troubleshooting and repair of farm equipment.
-Provide technical guidance and quality control to shop technicians.
-Train service staff using best practices in utilizing available company resources, diagnostics, customer satisfaction and brand promotion.
-Backup to service writer
-Address and resolve customer complaints and issues.
-Monitor and evaluate the performance of service staff.
-Ensures the Service Department is equipped with the necessary tools and service equipment.
-Monitors performance metrics and controls Service Department expenses.
-Work with area schools to provide service internship opportunities.

Our client is offering relocation assistance. Pay rate is $36 - $40 an hour.

Shop foreman requirements:
-Minimum of 5 years, experience of agricultural equipment, trucking, heavy equipment, or diesel engines.
-Strong understanding of maintenance practices, power trains and hydraulic systems.
-Proven ability to lead, coach, and supervise.
-Being able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
