Class A Truck Driver
Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Vernon, CA!
We are looking for a Class A Driver out of Vernon, CA who’s reliable, flexible, and communicates well with our shipping team. The driver needs to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt with changes as they come. since we deal with perishable goods, things can change at any moment. Down time/Slow time is expected as you will sometimes have to be waiting for a route to become available. Safety, being on time, and staying professional are all really important to us, and ideally, we want someone who’s open to joining us full-time long-term. Pay rate is $28/hour.
The Schedule we need filled is as followed:
• Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM w/ 35min lunches
• Friday & Sunday: Off
• Saturday: Starting at 2:00 AM
• Note: Driver must be flexible and open to schedule changes as needed. We are a distributor of perishable goods, and changes can happen at any time due to the nature of our business.
Responsibilities of the driver:
• Operate tractor trailer and bobtail vehicles for local deliveries
• Offload at customer locations using a pallet jack
• Sort and organize boxes at delivery
• Fuel vehicles and ensure they are taken for regular maintenance
• Vehicle inspection must be performed at the beginning of each shift to ensure prompt dispatch
• Maintain open communication with dispatch and shipping team throughout the shift
• Work at a fast pace while maintaining safety and accuracy
Safety & Dress Code:
• Steel-toe boots required
• Pants only (no shorts allowed)
• High-visibility safety vest must be worn at all times

-1+ year of verifiable driving experience
-Willing to touch freight (Load/Offload/Box Breakdowns)
-Must be registered in FMCSA Clearinghouse
-Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
