Trillium Staffing is now hiring an executive chef for direct hire in Au Gres, MI!
Salary is starting at $55,000/year.
Executive Chef Essential Job Duties include:
Menu Development & Culinary Innovation
-Design and execute innovative menus that reflect seasonal trends and the restaurant’s concept.
-Develop recipes and specials that balance creativity with cost-efficiency.
Leadership & Staff Development
-Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive, professional, and high-performing team culture.
-Provide mentorship and performance feedback to ensure consistency and excellence.
Kitchen Operations & Quality Control
-Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
-Monitor inventory, portion control, and food presentation to maintain operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Executive Chef Qualifications include:
-Proven Culinary Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a high-volume, upscale kitchen environment with at least 2 years in an Executive or Sous Chef role.
-Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
-Culinary Education & Safety Knowledge: Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
-Solid understanding of food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and HACCP principles.
