Electrical Estimator

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Remote Electrical Estimator to join the team at a growing electrical subcontractor based in Utah!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial and residential projects, working collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners.

Duties:
-Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to prepare detailed electrical estimates.
-Perform quantity takeoffs and obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
-Develop comprehensive bid proposals, budgets, and value engineering alternatives.
-Participate in bid reviews, RFI processes, and scope clarifications with internal and external stakeholders.
-Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to ensure estimates align with actual field requirements.
-Maintain cost databases, market pricing benchmarks, and historical project records.
-Identify potential risks, scope gaps, or omissions in drawings and specs.

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $80,000 - $95,000, depending on experience
-M/V/D insurance

Qualifications:
-High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
-3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial or residential construction space.
-Proficiency in electrical estimating software (Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, etc.), Microsoft Excel, and Bluebeam.
-Strong knowledge of NEC, general construction practices, and electrical systems.
-Excellent analytical, time management, and communication skills.
-Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
