CAD Administrator
Trillium has an immediate opening for a CAD Administrator in Wilmington!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking an experienced CAD Administrator to administer and support our SolidWorks CAD/CAM and PDM platforms across nine global sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless CAD operations, supporting engineering and manufacturing functions, and driving global product development, sustainment, and compliance.
As a CAD Administrator, you will collaborate with cross-functional, international teams in engineering, manufacturing, IT, and quality. You will oversee CAD/PDM onboarding, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance across all regions. Candidate will work on-site and report to the Director of Sustainment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Administer SolidWorks CAD/CAM and PDM platforms across nine global sites
-Partner with Global IT teams on onboarding, system maintenance, and troubleshooting
-Manage the company’s Global PDM Vault, including permissions and workflow development
-Test and implement workflow improvements in Wilmington before deploying globally
-Support annual software upgrades in coordination with IT
-Manage software compatibility with Altium Designer and ERP integrations
-Provide support on auxiliary platforms including CAMWorks, DraftSight, and SolidWorks Composer
-Oversee part number creation, model and drawing reviews, and file structuring
-Create and revise component and assembly drawings (500+ components)
-Develop solid models, assemblies, bills of materials (BOMs), and marketing renderings
-Provide CAD deliverables for external stakeholders, such as ambulance builders
-Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDD 93/42/EEC, and MDR requirements
-Participate in Engineering Change Order and Phase-Gate processes to maintain QMS compliance
-Collaborate with external partners including value-added resellers, contract engineers, and manufacturers as needed
-Work a flexible schedule to support multiple international time zones (occasional evenings/weekends)
Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday - Friday / On-site. Pay is $70,000 - $100,000 annually DOE.

Qualifications:
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical)
-Minimum 5 years of experience with SolidWorks (CSWE certification preferred)
-Experience with SolidWorks PDM (CPAP preferred)
-Strong understanding of CAD/PDM administration, workflows, and vault management
-Experience with CAD integrations (ERP, Altium Designer) a plus
-Ability to travel occasionally (less than 5%)
