Electrician - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is currently hiring for an Industrial Electrician in Ashland, ME!

Candidates will be joining a well-established, growing company that is on the leading edge of technology in the sawmill industry. This is a temp-to-hire, full-time potential opportunity, that pays $35 - $40 per hour, depending upon experience and shift. Shifts for this position rotate between 1st and 3rd shifts. Will typically average around 50 hours per week. Candidates will be offered single room accommodation by the company along with $31/day in per diem for all 7 days. Accommodations come with cookhouse that provides 3 meals per day.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all site electrical systems are maintained in good working order in an effort to maximize the efficiency of mill equipment.
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electric motors, scanners, drives, and PLC's on equipment used in the sawmill processes

Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in an industrial setting required
- Trade Certification as Journeyman Electrician or Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology required
- Possess troubleshooting abilities with electrical controls, power distribution (high and low voltage), programmable logic controllers, and variable frequency drives
- Possess knowledge and experience with motor control systems, PLC's, and DC drives in an industrial environment
- Ability to work a rotating shift and on weekends
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
