Ironworker - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is now seeking Ironworkers for a project on a Naval Base in Kittery, ME!

Trillium is looking to hire several Ironworkers that are proficient in bolt up, connect work, and torch cutting. Structural welding would be a bonus.

Candidates must also have previous experience Installing and trimming out Insulated Metal Panels for a Pre-Engineered Metal Building. May be asked to help erect the steel for the PEMB.  Will be rigging the panels into place using vacuum lifts.  Will be screwing, leveling, and trimming panels into the steel girts from manlifts/scissor lifts.  The job is on a Naval Base in Norfolk, VA. Shift will all be first shift starting at 6:30 AM and will be working 60 hours per week, typically working 6 days a week.

Pay is $56.95/hour as this is a prevailing wage job. Per diem will be $135/days worked for those that qualify. This portion of the job is scheduled for 2-3 months but could go longer as the contractor is constantly bidding more work on the shipyard!!! The job will be welding and connecting beams, steel, and modules that were shipped to the base and need to be re-done.

-Must be US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen to get on base
-Must be able to comfortably and safely work from heights, have either rigging or signalperson certs and some sort of aerial lifts as well.  The work will be installed for a new refueling complex in the shipyard.
-Candidates must be able to get on a military base
-Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
-Must have all ironworking tools, and wear PPE to go with.
-Must have reliable transportation to and from the site.
