Sales Representative
Trillium Staffing is now seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Norton Shores for a direct-hire placement!
Summary:
Responsible for driving territory sales, developing new business, and managing customer relationships within industrial, manufacturing, OEM, and contractor markets. Requires strong knowledge of fasteners, MRO products, and value-added services (VMI, kitting, inventory solutions).
Key Responsibilities:
-Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold-calling, and referrals.
-Present fasteners, MRO supplies, and inventory solutions to new and existing customers.
-Manage and grow existing accounts through regular visits, needs assessments, and solution recommendations.
-Prepare quotes, bids, and pricing proposals; negotiate terms and contracts.
-Partner with inside sales, operations, and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
-Track market trends, competitor activity, and product demand.
Maintain CRM records, territory plans, sales forecasts, and reports.
-Provide basic product training and support to customer teams.

Pay is $70/k salary - full comp expected to be $110-$115 w/commission.

Qualifications:
-3–7 years of outside or technical sales experience; industrial distribution preferred.
-Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
-Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
-Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
-Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid driver’s license required.
