Ironworker - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking Ironworkers for a project in Red Oak, TX to perform structural steel installation, bolting, machinery moving, and rigging operations on industrial and commercial job sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience working safely at heights, reading structural drawings, and handling heavy loads using proper rigging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
•    Install, align, and bolt up structural steel components including beams, columns, and miscellaneous steel
•    Perform steel erection tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety standards
•    Rig, hoist, and move machinery and heavy equipment using cranes, forklifts, chain falls, and other lifting devices
•    Select and inspect rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, hooks, and spreader bars
•    Signal crane operators during lifts and ensure safe load handling
•    Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout marks
•    Perform field measurements, leveling, and alignment of steel and machinery
•    Adhere to OSHA and site-specific safety requirements at all times
•    Inspect tools, equipment, and materials for safe operation
•    Maintain a clean and organized work area
•    Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and safely

Pay rate is $32+ /hour plus Per Diem: $100 / day for all 7 days. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60h / week.

Qualifications
•    OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
•    Previous experience as an Ironworker, Steel Erector, or Rigger
•    Proficiency in bolting structural steel (snug-tight and/or torque/tension methods)
•    Experience with machinery moving and industrial rigging
•    Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
•    Knowledge of proper rigging practices and load calculations preferred
•    Ability to read blueprints and follow job plans
•    Strong attention to safety and detail

Preferred Certifications
•    NCCCO Rigger and/or Signal Person Certification
•    Aerial Lift / Scissor Lift Certification
•    Forklift Certification
