Project Manager
Our client is seeking a Project Manager for a high-risk implementation project which will require strict adherence to the requirements in this posting.
This position is in office, the selected candidate will work at the offices in Richmond, VA. There is no hybrid or remote option.
This is a project with high visibility and significant complexity, therefore the Project Manager will be required to work in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment. Relevant experience in similar environments should be clearly documented in the applicant’s resume.
The client is currently undergoing development. The duties of the Project Manager will include:
· Daily interaction with stakeholders, project team members, and internal staff.
· Attendance at virtual and in-person project meetings daily.
· Management of project performance metrics and recording of data.
· Adhere to requirements of internal Project Management Standard.
· Work in conjunction with members of the project team.
· Oversee coordination of the internal project calendar.
· Conduct briefings on the project status to internal and external audiences.

The required education and experience for this position are as follows:
· Active Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Must be submitted with resume.
· Documented risk management experience.
· Successful completion of a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth of Virginia project of $5M or more, or completion of a non-COV project with a value greater than $10M as PM of record. (pls make sure their exp with this is HIGHLIGHTED on their resume)
· Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
· Familiarization with the Commonwealth Technology Portfolio highly desirable.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills, written and verbal.
· Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
