Millwright - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Millwrights to support precision equipment installation and automation work at a high profile auto manufacturing facility in Reno, NV.
This role requires strong experience in optical alignment, precision leveling, and setting industrial equipment to tight tolerances in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Set, align, and level industrial machinery, automation equipment, and production lines
-Perform precision alignment using optical instruments (laser levels, optical transits, theodolites)
-Conduct shaft, motor, pump, and conveyor alignment to specified tolerances
-Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layout plans, and equipment specifications
-Install and grout baseplates, frames, and machinery foundations
-Use jacking, skidding, and rigging methods to position equipment safely
-Verify elevations, plumb, and square during installation
-Perform final checks, documentation, and turnover support
-Follow client site requirements, safety standards, and quality procedures
-Coordinate with electricians, automation techs, and supervisors
Pay rate is up to $32 per hour + $700 per week per diem. 60+ hours per week M-S - 6 month project may roll into the next phase for the right fit. Work is in a high-precision industrial manufacturing facility. Work may include elevated platforms, confined spaces, and extended standing. Qualifications
-Proven experience as an Industrial Millwright, preferably in manufacturing or automation environments
-Demonstrated experience with precision optics, laser alignment, and leveling systems
-Strong understanding of mechanical installation tolerances
-Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layout elevations
-OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 required
-Experience in automotive manufacturing, robotics, or conveyor systems preferred
-Ability to pass site-specific orientation and safety requirements
