Assistant Project Manager

Trillium Construction is hiring for an Assistant Project Manager in Lemont, IL to work directly with a well-established commercial landscaping company that specializes in landscape design, construction, and management services.

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for working with the Project Manager to ensure a new project has a seamless transition from the awarded phase into production.

Duties:
-Directly support Project Managers during the post awarded construction phase of a new project
-Organize project information within our internal data systems and prepare necessary documents for clients
-Prepare product data, shop drawings, subcontractor info for submission into clients for all active commercial jobs.
-Maintain submittal logs throughout the entire process until final approvals
-Working with vendors and manufacturers to manage lead times, purchasing, and staging of deliveries
-Working with nurseries to manage availability, tagging, photo submittals, purchasing, and staging deliveries
-Maintain a tracking system for procurement of all construction materials by job
-Maintain and update Job status reports
-Assist superintendent and project managers during various stages of the construction process.
-Assist in reviewing and verifying quantities and unit prices of subcontractor work orders
-Assist with Punch List items and project close out

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $75k - $95k
-PTO

Qualifications:
-2-3 years’ experience in the landscape industry preferred
-Knowledge of construction techniques and industry best practices
-Excellent communication and organization skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Ability to prioritize and multi-task
-Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
