CNC Team Lead
Trillium Staffing is seeking a CNC Machine Team Lead for a direct hire opportunity in Kiel, WI.
Schedule is 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Pay rate is $30.00 – $34.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
-Set up, program, and operate CNC machines (lathe-focused)
-Read and interpret blueprints, models, and specifications
-Create and modify CNC programs
-Inspect machined parts to ensure customer specifications are met
-Complete and maintain production and inspection records in ERP
-Identify and report defects, material issues, or process concerns
-Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Team Lead Responsibilities
-Organize and maintain tooling, fixtures, and setup resources
-Support programming and machining strategy improvements
-Participate in daily scheduling and production planning
-Collaborate with Manufacturing Planner to meet production goals
-Assist Engineering with quoting and process development
-Train and mentor new and current employees
-Serve as a technical resource to support team performance and efficiency
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
-Heated and ventilated production floor
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
-Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
-Use of hands for machine operation and inspection
-Required use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots)

Qualifications
-5+ years of CNC machining experience in a machine shop environment
-Lathe experience is required
-Programming experience required
-Experience with ERP systems such as ProShop is a plus
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
-Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
-Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
-Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
-Effective communication and teamwork skills
