Mechanical Engineer
Trillium Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a direct hire position to support the design and development of custom industrial equipment. In this role, you’ll work across the full product lifecycle—from concept and design to production and continuous improvement—helping deliver high-quality mechanical solutions for a diverse customer base.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to grow their skills in a hands-on, collaborative manufacturing environment. 1st shift - salary range $58/k - $65/k
What You’ll Do:
-Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software
-Create detailed drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation
-Interpret project requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions
-Support the development of custom equipment and standardized product designs
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Manufacturing, and Assembly
-Monitor project progress to ensure designs meet specifications, timelines, and quality standards
-Research and recommend improvements to manufacturing and assembly processes
Troubleshoot design issues and provide effective, timely solutions
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
-1–3 years of engineering experience (internships/co-ops count)
Proficiency with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar)
-Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and design principles
-Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
