Material Handler positions available in the Mason, MI area!
Seeking candidates for our client who is a leading manufacturer in the Mason, MI. area!
2nd & 3rd shift. May be required to train on 1st shift for a short amount of time. Possible contract to hire opportunity. $18.00 an hour. Hours are: 2nd shift-3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. 3rd shift-11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Material Handler Duties:
-Ability to operate, obtain/keep a license, and perform all required safety inspections for all material handling vehicles as mandated by the company and/or OSHA including, but not limited to: crane, fork lift, and tugger.
-Operate a sit down, battery operated Fork Lift.
-Ability to maintain the warehouse and all areas in an orderly and clean state.
-Ability to load/unload delivery vehicles.
-Ability to accurately record, identify, store, pick and pack components and raw materials.
-Ability to follow scheduling, delivery, and dunnage systems.
-Ability to break down packaging material, to operate chip spinner and clean out screw machines.
-Ability to setup and operate bar marker.
-Ability to use computer applications.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
-Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required
-Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing environment recommended
-Prior fork lift certification required, at least two years of experience preferred.
