A manufacturing facility located in Waxahachie, TX is seeking an experienced Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead overnight production operations and manage a team of hourly associates.

Salaried Pay Range: $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience plus a quarterly profit sharing bonus. Shift: Night Shift – Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM. Fridays worked as needed based on production demands. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required. Candidates must be fully comfortable working overnight hours. Candidates will train on 1st shift.

The Night Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations during the night shift, serving as the primary leader on the manufacturing floor. This role ensures production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met while maintaining strong communication between hourly associates and plant leadership.

This position plays a critical hands-on leadership role and acts as the primary decision-maker throughout the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities
-Lead, supervise, and support a team of hourly production employees (roughly 12 team members)
-Drive production output to meet daily schedules and throughput targets
-Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production bottlenecks in real time
-Ensure quality standards are met through in-process checks and coordination with Quality personnel
-Manage shift staffing, including attendance tracking, workstation assignments, cross-training, and break coverage
-Coordinate with Maintenance on equipment issues, breakdowns, and downtime documentation
-Prepare detailed shift handoff reports covering production metrics, quality issues, safety incidents, attendance, and equipment status
-Enforce safety policies and ensure OSHA compliance
-Administer progressive discipline consistently and partner with HR as required

Required Qualifications
-High School Diploma or GED required
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
-Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing experience
-At least 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role
-Proven ability to lead teams and hold associates accountable
-Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
-Experience with GMP or manufacturing quality standards
-Proficient with basic computer systems (email, ERP/MES systems, MS Office)
-Ability to work night shift, weekends, and holidays as required
