Hydraulic Assembly Technician
We’re hiring a Hydraulics Assembler to help build and install hydraulic systems on aerial lift equipment mounted to truck bodies.
This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment in Bethlehem, PA with the opportunity to convert to permanent after 6 months.
Responsibilities
-Install hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings
-Read and follow schematics, engineering drawings, and diagrams
-Assemble hoses and fittings to proper specs and cleanliness standards
-Perform pressure testing, flow checks, and system startup
-Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic issues during assembly
-Assist with basic electrical connections (12V and 120/240V)
-Document work and maintain quality standards
-Keep a clean and safe work environment
What We Offer
-Pay rate: $21/hour
-4-day work week (Mon–Thurs)
-Overtime opportunity on Fridays/Saturdays
-6-month contract-to-hire with long-term potential

Qualifications
-High school diploma or GED required
-3–5 years of hydraulic or mechanical assembly experience (or similar training)
-Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
-Experience with hand and power tools
-Ability to work independently and on a team
-Lift up to 50 lbs
-Work on and around large equipment and truck chassis
Climb, bend, and work in a fast-paced shop environment
