Senior Construction Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent – Hotel Construction to lead a large-scale, ground-up hospitality projects for our client in Rancho Cucamonga, CA . Direct Hire!
This role is responsible for managing all field operations from site mobilization through completion, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Compensations is $130,000 – $165,000/year.
This position requires a strong background in large-scale commercial and multifamily construction, with direct experience managing complex, fast-paced projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Field Operations
-Lead all on-site construction activities for a $58M ground-up hotel project.
-Oversee site mobilization, logistics, sequencing, and day-to-day field execution through project completion.
-Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
-Ensure adherence to project schedule, budget, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Scheduling & Coordination
-Develop and maintain short-term and master construction schedules.
-Coordinate all subcontractor activities to prevent delays and trade stacking conflicts.
-Partner with project management to track progress and adjust sequencing as needed.
Quality Control & Safety
-Enforce OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
-Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with design intent, building codes, and quality standards.
-Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
Communication & Reporting
-Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project stakeholders.
-Provide daily reporting on progress, manpower, safety, and field conditions.
-Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and hotel operations teams as needed.
Budget & Documentation Support
-Support field-level cost control related to labor, materials, and equipment usage.
-Review subcontractor work, invoices, and change orders in coordination with project management.
-Ensure accurate documentation using Procore and other project management systems.
Problem Solving & Risk Management
-Proactively identify field risks and implement mitigation strategies.
-Resolve on-site issues quickly to avoid schedule disruption or cost impacts.
-Maintain strong focus on constructability and sequencing in a high-visibility project environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications
-10+ years of experience in commercial construction.
-Must have strong multifamily construction experience (required).
-Experience leading large-scale hospitality, multifamily, or commercial projects.
-Proven experience with ground-up projects $50M+ in value.
-At least 5+ years of hospitality construction experience strongly preferred.
-Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor management, and field operations.
-Demonstrated leadership on multi-phase, fast-track construction projects.
-Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
-OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent field experience preferred.
Project Requirement
-Must provide a detailed project list demonstrating multifamily and large-scale commercial construction experience, including project size, scope, value, and role responsibilities.

-Smartsheet (preferred)
-MS Project or equivalent scheduling software (preferred)
Additional Details
-Dedicated project site (no travel required).
-Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement negotiable during onboarding.
-Occasional extended hours may be required to meet project deadlines and milestones.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
-Active construction site environment with exposure to weather conditions.
-Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain for extended periods.
-Ability to climb ladders and safely navigate job sites.
-Occasional driving required.
-Ability to operate standard office and field technology equipment.
