Receiving Supervisor

Receiving Supervisor position available in the Bristol, Indiana area working at our client location who is an established manufacturer and an industry leader.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a pay range of $70k to $75k. First shift position with a start time of 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with OT. This position will oversee incoming inventory by ensuring timely unloading, accurate receiving, and proper distribution. Verify purchase orders, document discrepancies, process receipts in the MRP system, and supervise the receiving team while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities for the receiving supervisor:
-Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
-Receive inventory into the MRP system and ensure proper labeling and storage.
-Supervise, train, and support the receiving/material handling team.
-Train employees on forklifts, scanners, and warehouse equipment.
-Improve warehouse receiving processes for efficiency.
-Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
-Will supervise 12-15 employees.

Qualifications for the receiving supervisor:
-2–4 years of receiving or warehouse and manufacturing experience.
-Strong computer, data entry, and communication skills.
-Ability to operate warehouse equipment and perform physical tasks.
-Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
