Trillium Professional is now seeking a Case Manager for a remote positions based in MA!

This is a contract opportunity lasting about 18 weeks, working 40 hours per week. Pay rate is $36/hour.

Our client is seeking a Case Manager – Absence Management to support employee leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, disability, and accommodation programs. This is a highly administrative, employee-facing role that partners closely with HR, managers, payroll, safety, legal, and a third-party leave administrator to ensure a smooth, compliant leave process.

Responsibilities
-Manage employee leave of absence cases from start to finish
-Coordinate with a third-party leave administrator on FMLA, PFML, ADA accommodations, STD/LTD, and Workers’ Compensation
-Educate employees and managers on leave policies and processes
-Track leave status, maintain accurate documentation, and update HR systems
-Process leave requests, manager notifications, and correspondence
-Monitor work-related injuries and modified duty cases
-Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate pay during leave
-Run leave reports and identify absence trends
-Participate in claims reviews with the third-party administrator
-Respond to employee questions and resolve issues throughout the leave process

Required Qualifications
-High School Diploma
-Previous Case Management or Absence Management experience
-Experience administering Leave of Absence and Workers’ Compensation cases
-Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and disability programs
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload
-Experience working with HRIS, Kronos, or similar systems preferred
