Warehouse Worker

Seeking Warehouse Workers for client warehouse location in Omaha, NE! Starts ASAP!

Pay rate is $17.00/ hour (increase at hire-on based on performance)
Contract: 520 hours to hire on. This is 1st shift 8:00-5:00PM (OT: will periodically work over shift as needed.) Lunch - 1 hour (1/2 hour unpaid).

Essential Job Duties
- Boxing and packaging automotive parts (HEAVY)
- Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
- Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
- Comply with established company policies and procedures.
- Assumes other duties as assigned.

Preferred Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Warehouse, or similar, work environment, prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc) experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to use RF gun or learn quickly
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.
- Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures.
- Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.
- Uses guidance/guidelines provide by supervisor/manager.
- Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment
-Must regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). 
- Must physically be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift. This is a physical job!
- Must be OK with extreme temps (hot in summer, colder in winter).
