Electrician - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking Iowa Licensed Journeyman Electricians (Class A or Class B) for a Walmart remodel project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

This is a great opportunity for experienced commercial electricians looking for steady work on a large-scale retail renovation.

Project Details
-Start Date: July 26
-Duration: Approximately 16-18 weeks
-Pay: Up to $55/hour, depending on experience
-Per Diem: $120/day, paid 7 days per week for qualified travelers
-Shift: Night Shift, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night, Overtime may be available

Job Duties
-Install, bend, and run EMT conduit
-Rewire existing electrical systems
-Replace and upgrade lighting fixtures with LED lighting
-Perform electrical work as part of an active Walmart remodel
-Work safely from aerial lifts and elevated platforms
-Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
-Follow all jobsite safety procedures and electrical codes

Qualifications
-Valid Iowa Class A or Class B Journeyman Electrical License (required)
-Commercial electrical experience required
-Experience with big box retail remodels is preferred but not required
-Comfortable working at heights and operating aerial lifts
-Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
